he Studied at the Drawing school of the Society for the encouragement of artists. In 1911-1913 studied in Academy of Mary Vasilyeva in Paris; in 1912 lived in Naples. In 1914 he returned to St. Petersburg. From 1913 — married И. А. Пуни.

Created kubofuturisticheskoy semi-abstract compositions, landscapes, still lifes, images of interiors and objects of applied art — pillows, purses, sashes, executed their own projects. Was part of the creative Union of artists-авангардистов Supremus. Participated in the production of a futuristic collection "Roaring Parnassus" (1914). Worked in the Petrograd magazine "Argus" (1916-1918), where he put his cartoons, illustrations for stories "Trips that were not" М. А. Кузьмина, "France from Sorrento" В. Белова That "Devil's bride" В. Брусятина and others. In 1917 he became Secretary of the Union of "Freedom of art" formed by the figures of the avant-garde as opposed to the Fee on the arts. In 1917-1920 published political cartoons in journals such as "beach", "Red devil"; worked in publishing house "Parus". He performed the illustrations for the album "Heroes and victims of the revolution" with the text В. В. Маяковского (PG., 1917, 1918). In 1918, together with her husband designed Foundry Avenue to celebrate 1-й anniversary of the October revolution.

In late 1919, he emigrated; lived for some time in Finland, in 1920 he moved to Berlin, from 1924 she lived in Paris. Sang covers for the German and Russian publishers; worked as a set designer for theatre-кабаре Blue bird and for Russian romantic theater.
