the Son of the landlord. Initial art education has received in Elizavetgrad. Around 1891, together with family emigrated to USA, settled in new-Йорке. He studied at the National Academy of design (1893-1898), Art students League (1901-1902). Among the teachers were leading American painters J. О. Вейер, J. In 1947-1952 he worked under contract with the company Incorporation Portraits.
