31 January 2017 the artist Nadia Rusheva would have turned 65 years old. But fate gave her on the ground, only seventeen... jubilee exhibition of Nadya Rusheva is the audience, only a small part of its artistic heritage, but one of the most brilliant — illustration of your favorite literary works. From unknown to a wide range of drawings from the famous — from the very early years of childhood, until verified, finished, Mature work to the novels of A. S. Pushkin, L. N. Tolstoy, M. Bulgakov...

In 1987 Natalia Azhikmaa, the mother of the artist, transferred the drawings daughters in Soviet culture Fund. In 1988, the State Pushkin Museum held a large exhibition of the creative legacy of Nadia Rusheva. A few years later at the request of the mother the main archive of the artist (over 9,000 images) were transferred to the Fund of culture in the collection of the State Pushkin Museum — favorite poet Nadya Rusheva, a constant source of inspiration. In a short time in the Museum on Prechistenka was created by open storage of the memorial "Collection of Nadia Rusheva" — the archive of the artist. Works by Nadia Rusheva is stored today in the all-Union Museum of A. S. Pushkin and Pushkin House in Petersburg, the State Museum of L. N. Tolstoy in Moscow, the Museum-заповеднике A. Block Shahmatova, Literary-мемориальном Museum of A. grin in Feodosia, the Tuvan national Museum in Kyzyl, in the Memorial Museum of Nadya Rusheva in Moscow school No. 470, where she studied.

the Creative legacy of Nadia Rusheva has more than 10 000 drawings. You can combine them in a large series — "Pushkiniana", "ballet", "family", "school", "space", "East", "the moderns 1960-х", "sports", "theater", "circus", "war", "animals" and many others. Numerous illustrations for literary works, more than 4 000 drawings, provide an unusually broad reading of the artist, and not just reading and deep understanding, a kind of interpretation of these books. Among her favorite authors — A. S. Pushkin, M. Y. Lermontov, N. Gogol, Aksakov, I. S. Turgenev, L. N. Tolstoy, Bulgakov, A. S. Greene, A. A. Blok, S. Yesenin, W. Shakespeare, W. Scott, F. Rabelais, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Charles Dickens, Г.-Х. Andersen, M. TWAIN, A. de Saint-Экзюпери and many other writers and poets.

Pushkin was always for Nadia "the native poet." She gradually learned the world of his work. "At first there were drawings forthe tales of Pushkin, — told Nadia. — Dad was reading and I was drawing at this time. Then when she learned to read, did drawings to "the bronze horseman", "Belkin", "Eugene Onegin"". The exhibition presents a sheet with a kind of "storyboard," "the tale of Tsar Saltan" (1960), the publication of fairy tales that belonged to Nadia, and eight-year-old self-portrait of the artist with a provocatively protruding pigtails. Four years later, she illustrated "the Tale of Golden Cockerel". Large colorful drawings made in crayons, with many details testify to the perfection of her art gift.
