Earlier this week in New York were trading Christie's, on the photo. October 13, held an auction, which includes works by William Egglstona (William Eggleston) from the collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman (Bruce & Nancy Berman). Tenders have been very successful: it sold 99 percent of lots. Auction has 2.99 million dollars (estimeyt 1,5-2,1 million). Top lot was a portfolio «Los Alamos», spent over 1.02 million dollars, with thousands of estimeyte 350-550. Spring auction held photographs of Diane Arbus (Diane Arbus) from the same collection Berman, in which the new owners have everything working.

On the same day were bidding works of contemporary photographers, which unlike auction Egglstona was not successful. Sold was only 58 per cent of lots. However, they still managed to set two personal records: the works of photographers Alex Sota (Alex Soth), and Scott Pitermana (Scott Peterman). Horst (Horst P. Horst), and others. Auction has 3.4 million dollars - a result of dead-alive, considering that the organizers hoped to bid for a minimum of 5 million. The most expensive work was the black and white photography for Vogue, made by Irwin Pennom (Irving Penn). She left for 266.5 thousand dollars.
