Dmitry Zhilinsky was born in Sochi, lived and worked in Moscow. Academician of the Russian Academy of arts (Department of painting, 1988), member of the Presidium of the PAX (1997), people's artist of the RSFSR (1987), Professor (1970), member of the Russian Academy of education(1994).
