Painter, graphic artist

From a merchant family. He received his General education in Irkutsk city school. He studied at Vinnitsa art College, then — Kiev art school (1910-е).

Lived in Irkutsk. Was familiar with Д. Д. Бурлюком fond of Cubo-futurism. Repeatedly made trips to the North, on the Lena river. He painted portraits, landscapes, genre scenes from the life of the peoples of the North. Author paintings: "Chaldon", "Dog", "the Tungus, Yakuts" (all — 1921), "the far North" (1923), "Pine forest" (1926), "On Baikal" (1933), "partisan Charges" (1939) and others. Worked as an artist in the publishing house "Eastern-Сибирская true"; has done the illustrations for the book "the big Furnace and the Furnace is small" Г. Ф. Кунгурова, "Chain noise" П. П. Петрова.

Head of the Irkutsk art galleries (1920-1925). Party 1-й regional conference of Eastern artists-Сибирского edge in Irkutsk (1933).

a Member and Exhibitor of the Irkutsk society of artists (1919-1922), the company "New Siberia" (1926-1931). One of the organizers of the Union of artists of the USSR in Irkutsk. Exhibited: 1-й all-Siberian exhibition of painting, sculpture, graphics and architecture (1927, traveling through the cities of Siberia), regional art exhibitions in Irkutsk (1931, 1933, 1936); has held several joint exhibitions with С. Д. Бигосом and А. И. Вологдиным (1924, 1925, 1928).
