At the State Museum of history St.-Петербурга, in the territory of the Peter and Paul fortress, on may 27, will open the exhibition "Masterpieces of the Moscow Pushkiniana" from the collection of the State Museum of A. S. Pushkin. The exhibition gives Petersburgers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the collection of the Moscow Pushkin Museum.

More than 150 valuable items from its collection were taken to the Northern capital, the Moscow Museum of the great poet.

Pushkin gave him the Wielkopolska S. M., the daughter of family physician and friend of Pushkin, Professor M. Ya Mudrova, and more than a hundred years, the portrait was kept by her descendants. In the halls of the exhibition you can see another in vivo image of Pushkin — miniature made by I. I. Vivien. In the years 1818-1852 the artist lived and worked in Moscow. There was his meeting with the poet, returning in 1826 to his hometown of Mikhailovsky links. The undeniable artistic and historical-культурную value is a copy of a portrait of Pushkin from the original O. A. Kiprensky, taken by an unknown Russian master in the middle of the XIX century by order of a close friend of the poet Prince Pyotr Vyazemsky. On the picturesque ceremonial and intimate portraits of the XVIII —XIX centuries depicted the representatives of the Russian nobility of the era. A wide and varied range of authors of these portraits. Along with the works of well known Russian and foreign artists: E. I. Botman, I. K. Makarov, Xavier de Maistre, A. Molinari, Б.-Ш. Mituara, .D. Mylnikov, V. I. tropinina, the exhibition includes works of serf artists and unknown painters. Among the portraits of contemporaries of Pushkin — image of his friends, relatives and secular friends: I. I. Dmitrieva, N. P. Galitzine, A. A. Suvorova-Рымникского, A. A. Andro (nee Venison), N.N. Pushkina-Ланской, V. F. Gagarina, and others. A special place is given to the portraits of the next of kin of the famous "Moscow elder" E. P. Yankova, author of the memoir, "grandma's Stories...", which became a kind of encyclopedia of aristocratic life. Old inscriptions on the back of the canvas, stickers and labels on stretcher frames many of the portraits show that once they were in family gatherings, and this is their enduring value.
