Today in the cultural Foundation "Ekaterina" opens to the public exhibition of "Repatriation. Igor Vulokh" from the collection Fund to the creative heritage of the artist. The exhibition concept is associated with a difficult period in the life of the artist, as well as with complex, controversial period in the political and cultural life of Russia of the early 1990s godov@

In those years, the dissolution of the USSR, was tragic situation with art. Unique works were passed from hand to hand, were sold for a pittance, exported abroad, settling in the private collections of unknown lovers. The works of Igor Vulokh collected for exhibitions and sales Sergei Popov, the owner of the gallery "Brauner and Popov (West Berlin, Germany), former employee of the office of the Minister of culture of the USSR and the organizer of the country's first auction at Sotheby's. Later the collection was filled with 20 paintings Vulokh from the Moscow gallery "Today". In 1992 they were exhibited in the gallery in Vigevano (Italy), however, due to legal conflicts and changing political formations in Russia and were not returned to Rodinu@

Long 43 the works of Igor Vulokh was Sergei Popov. After the death of the gallery, they were transferred to the Fund of the creative legacy of Igor Vulka@
