Today at the Institute of Russian realist art opens the exhibition "drawing Lessons", dedicated to the the 190th anniversary of the Stroganov Academy. Exhibited more than 120 works of teachers and students of the Academy, among them Mikhail Vrubel, Fyodor Shekhtel, Sergei Gerasimov, Fedor Fedorov, Vladimir Egorov, Mikhail Vasiliev and drugie@

the Academy, founded in 1825 year by count Sergei Grigorievich Stroganov, originally called "the School of drawing in relation to the arts and ramalam@

"the Goal of this institution is, wrote Stroganoff, - to young people (10 to 16 years), dedicated to the various crafts and skills, to deliver the case to acquire the art of drawing without which no craftsman unable to give the product its possible sovershenstvo@

Now, almost two hundred years since its Foundation, the famous art school remains one of the most recognized in the world of art educational institutions. Within its walls almost two centuries of existence was brought up a whole galaxy of talented artists who entered the history of Russian fine and decorative arts. Laid their traditions are reflected in the work of the Academy and Segodnya@

Retrospective exhibition covering the period from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day, introduces the work of great teachers, famous alumni and current students of the Academy. The exhibition includes works of easel, decorative and graphic arts and painting, but also sculpture, furniture, ceramics and metal, samples of fabrics and Wallpapers. 10 thematic halls tell about the history of the Stroganov Academy, about how varied approach to academic and special drawing, as the idea becomes concrete Vesi@

the exhibition includes works from the collection of the Institute of Russian realist art, the Stroganov Academy, the Theatre Museum named after A. A. Bakhrushin, Cinema Museum, the State Museum Century Century Mayakovsky and private collections. Specialists of the Institute of Russian realist art and the Stroganov Academy prepared a special programme of lectures and masterclasses@
