Exhibition of 65 works of Russian painting of the second half of the XIX century from the Russian Museum

Today, November 3, at Pera Museum (Istanbul) opens the exhibition "Domestic scenes of life in Tsarist Russia" from the Russian Museum. It belongs to the large-scale foreign projects of Russia's leading museum devoted to one of the most striking phenomena in the history of Russian art - painting of the second half of the XIX century.

During this period, in the works of outstanding masters of the national art school the most complete found reflection of the actual problems of Russian society and advanced realistic tendencies era.
