The exhibition is accompanied by documentary materials, the era of Art Deco.

The exhibition is divided into three parts. In the first presented the work of artists who collaborated with the famous "Russian ballet by Sergei Diaghilev . "Russian Ballet" served as a powerful impetus for the formation of Art Deco style. Diaghilev's Ballets show the West is not only an innovative dance, and creative experience of art associations in Russia: the scenery for Russian ballets were performed great Russian artist L. Bakst, A. Benoit , , B. Anisfeld , Roerich , S. Sudeikin, Dobuzhinsky , Natalia Goncharova. From 1909 to 1929 and the company "Russian Seasons" played in Europe and was inspired Art Deco style. The strength and originality of Russian culture, was struck by the Europeans. She brought new colors: yellow, orange and green colors have replaced the faded pastel tones and modern. Glides replaced expressive, and Russian and East European consciousness flipped images.

Another unique product, presented at the exhibition - a sketch for the ballet "The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian" by L. Bakst. The ballet was created for an exhibition in 1925 - an event that has become a culmination in the formation of Art Deco style. At the exhibition opening on June 16 Ida Rubinstein played in a golden suit of the archangel created by L. Bakst, the ballet troupe was dressed in costumes of Christian martyrs (a sketch for one of them and presented at the exhibition).

The second part of the exhibition can be called "The sculpture of bronze and ivory Art Deco style». This section is devoted to the area of art deco, where the influence of Russian culture and Russian ballet is particularly noticeable. In 1920 Dmitry Chiparus and other sculptors of the era created works based on Russian ballets. In many of these authors sought portrait resemblance with the Russian dancers.

So, the sculpture of" Persian Dance ", presented at the exhibition, portrays Vaslav Nijinsky and Ida Rubinstein in the ballet" Scheherazade ".
