The sixties (i.e. artists of 1960s), nonconformists, the second Russian avant-garde, underground art artists – that is all conventional titles for informal post-war artists in the Soviet Union. Nonconformist artists took part in the provoking Manezh Exhibition (1962), the Bulldozer Exhibition (1974), Beekiping Pavilion Exhibition and House of Culture Pavilion Exhibition at ENEA (1975) and several other important historical exhibitions. However, some unofficial artists worked almost secretly, did not participate in these exhibitions and were not involved in the activities of such important informal artistic communities as Lianozovo group, Sretensky Boulevard Circle, Gaza-Nevsky Group and others.
