the School of watercolors Andriaka continues the series of shows "Masterpieces of Museum collections".

Until December 18 opened the exhibition "Rembrandt and his followers. Western European and Russian graphics of the XVII — first half of XX century" from the collections of the Tambov regional art gallery, Tambov regional Museum. 236 etchings, drawings, and watercolors present to the art lovers of the unknown and forgotten pages of work of masters of graphics of different countries and eras, to create a panoramic picture of the development of its graphics and collectibles in Russia.

The exhibition presents the preparatory drawings for the large altar compositions of Italian painters, Annibale Carracci, Guercino, Giovanni F. and Solomon Corrodi. Of great interest are little-known watercolor masters of the XIX century La Pira, depicting Italian views, and also full of life drawings of the famous "small Dutch" — goyena J. van, A. van Ostade.

Before the October revolution in the Tambov province was famous for the art collection of count Vorontsov, count P. S. Stroganov, scientist-правоведа B. N. Examples of graphic art were found in each of the collections, but the true fans and lovers of his were natives of the Tambov province A. L. Voeikov and B. N. Chicherin. So, L. A., Voeykov was the collection of Russian engravings of the XVII — XIX centuries. for more than forty years, preferring engraved portraits, among which there are real unique, preserved in two-трех copies. Another Tambov collector — B. N. Chicherin wrote in his "Memoirs": "... Compiled over many years of precious meeting not one I served, and will serve as a source of the most pure and sublime enjoyment".
