In the days when London's leading auction houses hold a traditional series of Russian art auctions, we decided to expand and improve our rating "the Most expensive paintings of Russian artists". For convenience, all prices were converted into us dollars, and the list was expanded to 30 family@

Artworks in the ranking were selected according to three criteria@

3. Rule: one artist — one picture. That is, the situation when, strictly speaking, all the first places that would take the work of Mark Rothko's allowed: leave only the most expensive work, and all other results for paintings by this artist ignoriruet@

as a basis For rating the results were taken considering the prize of the buyer (Buyers Premium) denominated in dollars (the numbers shown in European auctions, i.e. in pounds or euros, converted to dollars at the exchange rate on the trade date).

in addition, the number of participants increased up to 30 names.
