Biography
Buchholz Fyodor
painter and graphic artist.
Biographical information about the wizard is extremely rare. He studied at the Votslavskoy Realschule Warsaw province. In 1878 he joined the IAH in St. Petersburg. In 1880, a sketch for the painting "John III deposed khan yoke" and 1882 for the drawing and pictorial sketch from nature won three small silver medals. In 1884, for drawing and sketch was awarded two large silver medals, in 1885, presented to the Board of IAH program now "Daedalus and Icarus," for which he received a small gold medal and title of the class artist of II degree. Participated in academic exhibitions.
Among his most famous works "The game of chess", "Kiss", "Boyar Morozov learns about the love of his wife Helen in the Silver Prince" (the novel by A. Tolstoy's Prince Silver »).
