Today at the Jewish Museum and the tolerance center opens exhibition of one of the most rare of collections, entirely dedicated to Russian and Soviet poster of the first third of the twentieth century

At the Jewish Museum and the tolerance center opens the exhibition "the Process of about three million. Collection of posters Alexander Dobrovinsky".

Alexander Dobrovinsky — known lawyer, writer, art collector and Antiques. One of the rarest of its meetings entirely devoted to Russian and Soviet poster of the first third of the twentieth century. To date, a collection of vintage graphics has more than five hundred unique sheets, among which are classic examples of commercial advertising and one of the first Soviet film posters, which became a space of radical artistic experimentation. The exhibition will display over 200 posters of authorship 34 artists (В. Kandinsky, А. Rodchenko, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Н. Goncharova, А. Dejneka, etc.).

One of the main ideological instruments of the Soviet government, seeking to educate a "new man" free of remnants of tsarism and are ready to share the values of the Communist party, was the cinema. In parallel with the unprecedented growth of the Soviet film industry and enabling state "the most important art" in the first third of the twentieth century formed a new artistic genre film posters.
