great Russian painter, member of the Academy of Arts USSR Arkady Plastov (1893-1972) was born in the village Prisloniha Simbirsk province (now Ulyanovsk region). His emergence as an artist took place in the years of study at the Imperial central Stroganov School of Industrial Art in FF Fyodorovsky (1912-1914) and the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in the sculpture department at SM Volnukhin (1914-1917). Along with this, he attended classes AE Arkhipov , A. Vasnetsov , A . Korina M. , Leonid Pasternak , A. Stepanova .

many years AA Plastov lived in his native Prisloniha village, scooping the creative force and inspiration in his native province, in the fellow villagers, who became the heroes of many of his works, in a modest and reverent Russian nature.
