At the Central House of Artists hosts exhibition of painting known artist Vladimir Nikolaevich Kim Britova

at the Central House of Artists is an exhibition of paintings of famous artist Vladimir Kim N. Britova . He was born Jan. 8, 1925 in the city Sobinke. Childhood spent in the carpet. Here he went to school, where for four years he studied painting and drawing in the art studio under the direction of SM Chesnokov.

In the late 1930's with his family moved to Vladimir. In 1941-1942 worked turner, electric welder and rigger recovery train station, Vladimir. In 1943 a volunteer went to the front. Served in the Regiment of Artillery and exploration. He was wounded. In 1944 it was awarded a medal «For courage».

After demobilization KN Britov Msterskuyu had to learn in art school, where he studied academic drawing and easel paintings (1945-1947).

From 1948 to 1955 worked in Vladimir art studio under the direction of artist and scientist-restorer NP Sycheva. In 1948 was adopted by the members of the Association of the Vladimir regional artists. From 1954 to 1964 - Chairman Volodymyr Branch Union of Artists of Russia.

Along with V.Ya. Yukinym and VG Kokurin Kim N. Britov behind the decorative style of painting, known as the« School of Landscape Vladimir ».

Early works by Kim N. written in moderation colors:

«Winter Day in Vladimir» (1950), «Do Msterskoy mill» (1952). In mid-1950's, Kim N. felt passion landscapes IE Grabar , LV Turzhansky , PI Petrovichev . Kim N. made a series of creative travel around the country. Worked in Karelia, Mordovia, in the Crimea, the Urals. Especially fruitful were traveling on the Russian North, which resulted in a series of works: «North side» (1966), «In the North» (1969), «Onega. Snow fell »(1978), etc. Among the few portraits of the genre, one of the best -« Old Fisherman «(1962). Foreign travel in the CSSR, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Holland to expand the geography of the landscape of the author, always and everywhere has maintained its unique, recognizable handwriting.

Top of the KN Britova purchased art museum and the country. Hundreds of studies are sold through a salon of the Art Fund of USSR exports to England, Italy, the United States, France, Japan.

KN Britov - People's Artist of Russia, awarded the Gold Medal of Fine Arts Academy of Russia (1997), Pushkin Gold Medal (2000), honorary citizen of the city of Vladimir, winner of the Russian Union of Culture (1990), Regional Award in culture, art and literature (1995). He was awarded the gold medal of Academy of Fine Arts (1998). He became the first in the country, with awards to them. I. Levitan (2002).

Artworks Britova Kim kept in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, as well as many museums, exhibition halls, local and foreign private collections. Over 60 years of creative activity KN Britov participated in more than 220 exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
