Auction "Russian paintings and drawings XIX — XX centuries" includes 150 works. The open auction of paintings of the great Georgian artist Lado Gudiashvili "Beauty on the lake". The collection of paintings of the classics "hunting" genre — count Vladimir Muravyov, a court painter Rudolf Frentz, painter-анималиста Evgeny Tikhmenev — included a rare etching Ivan Shishkin "a Hunter in the swamp". It is known that Shishkin was an avid hunter, but almost no one saw his works on this subject.

The work was created in the early polepiece period, evidence of the artist's family and the results of chemical analysis indicate almost the exact date of creation — until 1938. Pattern, wherein a thin color, written in the best traditions of the Parisian period of creativity of the great Georgian artist. Buxom and however immaculate Georgian beauty that embodies a higher, unearthly beauty, — one of the constant art of Gudiashvili. Translation of the Georgian inscriptions on the back of the picture can interpret the word "beauty" and "beauty" (sublime motive coexists here with irony). The picture is from Moscow a large private collection and presented to the owner by the artist himself. This is evidenced by the author's inscription on the back: "dear and Respected <...> the glory of her good heart. Let this little work will forever healing elixir. / Friendly love Lado Gudiashvili / 18 Nov 1966 / Tbilisi".

Along with them will be exposed to expressive, dynamic picture of the painter-анималиста Eugene Tikhmenev "bear Hunting with a spear" (1904, estimate 3-4 million) and the painting "a hunting Scene" (beginning of XX century, estimate: 1.2–1.5 million rubles) by the court artist of Rudolf Frentz — one of the most popular artists of the hunting genre in the second half of the XIX century, Rudolf Franz-старший drew for three of the Russian emperors Alexander II, Alexander III andNicholas II. "The hunting string" part and watercolour "the wood-Grouse. Forest landscape" (1895), written by the famous architect, artist-акварелистом Alexander Khrenov (380-500 thousand rubles).
pen drawing of Yuri Pimenov's "the Umbrellas" (1961) dedicated to a favorite theme of the artist — rain in the city rain in Moscow. As he wrote himself Pimenov: "the Rain itself is a great artist, transforming the most banal urban landscape into a Symphony of fresh, singing under the paint." Despite the small size of the figure (19,5 × 26,5), experts of the auction believe that, estimated at 120-200 thousand rubles, it may well become one of the top-лотов auction.
the Study of Vasily Polenov "Inside King Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem" (1881) was written during a trip the artist's Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and Greece. During the trip the artist made many sketches, which were exhibited at the XIII traveling exhibition in 1885 and acquired by P. Tretyakov. In the papers, "the Palestinian series" architecture of biblical places is becoming a theme. The artist depicts a monastery on the banks, a fragment of medieval urban buildings, the yard in Palestine, the ancient half columns, Eski-Сарайский garden in Constantinople. The money received for the sold painting in the summer of 1895, in search of new and brilliant impressions of the artist travelling in the Crimea and the Caucasus. Here he wrote many of the emotional nature studies depicting sea shore with beautiful houses lit by sun or moon light, playing on the beach children ("Crimean study", 1895, TG). Presented at the auction of collector's study of the Museum "Landscape with rocks" were performed during this memorable for the artist's trip.
Among selections from several works Svetozar Rusakov — Soviet artist-мультипликатора, longtime artist-постановщика 16 episodes of the popular animated series "Well, pogodi!", — in addition to famous frame from the cartoon with the Wolf and the Hare, are much more rare, virtually unknown to the watercolor painting "Susanna and the elders" and "Faun and Nymph".

Special attention should be paid to the Tikhvin icon of the Theotokos of the late eighteenth century (preliminary assessment 680-900 thousand rubles). In perfect condition exhibited the other of the Tikhvin icon of the blessed virgin of the late XIX — beginning of the XX century by the famous Mstera school (estimate 250-300 thousand). Interesting a very rare Cypriot icon of the virgin of the XIX century — in the original frame workshop of gold and silver jewelry I. F. Tarabarova (1896, score 1-1,15 million rubles).
