Mieczyslaw Dobrokovsky was born 27 may 1895 in the town of Vidzy petrokovsky province, on the territory of modern Poland, in the family of an the main bailiff. In 1923 he decided to get a professional art education and enrolled in VHUTEMAS. His teacher was Dmitry Stakhievich Orlov, better known under the name Moore.
