Painter, graphic artist

Daughter of General of cavalry Baron К. Е. Врангеля. Was educated at home. As an auditor attended classes at the Moscow school of painting (1865-1866). From 1867 she studied painting under the guidance of В. О. Шервуда. In 1870, for the watercolor "Scene from little Russian life" and "country Road" received the title neklassnogo (free) artist. In 1872, for the painting "the Fighting bulls" and "Meeting" — a big incentive medal. In 1874 was awarded the title of honorary member of the Imperial Academy of arts.

I Lived in St. Petersburg (1875). The advice Л. О. Премацци that took lessons from П. П. Чистякова. In 1880-90-е visited Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, Finland, Switzerland.

Executed landscapes, genre paintings, portraits, still lifes; worked as a watercolorist. Author paintings: "the Peasant in the road", "the Lesson of the Plowman", "the return of the herd at noon," "In the woods", "River", "Flemish fisherman", "Grandmother and granddaughter", "On the land", "the watering place"; watercolors: "the Village horse in the forest, Yuletide. With trees in the city", "Conversation", "Dunyasha", "watering the horses" (all — 1880-90-е). The work was reproduced on postcards, issued by the Congregation of St. Eugenia (Publishers Of The Red Cross).

From 1869 — participant of exhibitions. Exhibited at the exhibitions of Moscow society of art lovers (1869), the Imperial Academy of arts (1870-1896, with interruptions), Society of exhibitions of works of art (1880, 1883), St-Петербургского society of artists (1891-1897, with interruptions), the Society of Russian watercolorists (1892-1897), the all-Russia industrial and art exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod (1896). Member of-учредитель (1882) and the Exhibitor of the First Ladies ' art circle (1884-1904, with breaks). A member of the World exhibitions in Vienna (1873) and Chicago (1893).

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, Ulyanovsk regional art Museum, Latvian art Museum in Riga.
