Today at the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin opens the exhibition " My Homeland - in my soul ... ", representing the works of Western European and Russian art of the late XIX - XX century from the collection of the Museum of avant-garde art ( MAGMA ).
The museum was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Kantor , public figure, businessman and philanthropist . Exhibition of works by world famous and recognized masters of Jewish descent from the MAGMA meeting will be a great example of an embodiment of tolerance , a shining example of interaction and interpenetration of cultures .
exhibition will consist of several parts, each of which is devoted to a period in the history of art. Part of the exhibition brings together two sections - art abroad XIX - XX centuries and the first third of the twentieth century. It includes works by masters of Russian Silver Age and the School of Paris .
