This exhibition presents major works, received a collection of Galleries in recent years, reflecting the whole spectrum of interests of the largest museum collection of contemporary art.

The gift of the State Tretyakov Gallery artists gave their works Erik Bulatov , Emily and Ilya Kabakov , Oscar Rabin , Andrew Grositsky , Dmitry Zhilinskii , etc.

The money sponsors - organizations and individuals - purchased the exhibited works of Boris Zaborov , Francisco Infante , Michael Kulakov , Leonid Sokov , Dmitry Plavinsky .

the 150 anniversary of the gallery received the gift of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation (through the Federal State Institution "ROSIZO"), comprising more than fifty works. Among them are paintings Vladimir Gavrilov , Helium Korzheva , sculpture Ernst Unknown , etc. Most Part of this work is exhibited in the permanent exhibition of art XX century (Hall № 28-37).

exciting new form of cooperation between the museum and contemporary artists have special projects, exhibited in the hall № 38. Through this practice, as a gift to the assembly Galleries entered polyptychs cycle "The Seasons of Russian painting» AleksandraVinogradova and Vladimir Dubosarsky , presented in the lobby 3 floors. With the support of donors Gallery opens new assembly for the names of artists whose works are a legacy of twentieth century art. Family Alexei Gubareva donated GTG seven works by the artist. Oscar Rabin and Valentine Kropyvnyts'ke presented the painting gallery Alexander Rabin .

presenting an exhibition of recent acquisitions, the State Tretyakov Gallery hopes to further support the initiatives of the museum on the replenishment of the largest national assembly.
