For the first time in its history, the famous French museum holds series of events dedicated to music

The objective of this project - to show connection between the graphics, music and literature XIX-XX centuries. «The Art of Modernism is based on the fragment», - said in an interview with Boulez AgenceFrancePresse. Showing nudity on a sketch made by the American expressionists Willem de Kuninga (WillemdeKooning), he adds: «Before, it would be considered only a draft». The exhibition will see 70 works, including works by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres), Paul Cézanne (Paul Cézanne), Paul Klee (PaulKlee), Alberto Giacometti (AlbertoGiacometti) and Vasily Kandinsky . There will also be presented to the score and lyrics selected by Boulez.
Pierre Boulez was born in 1925. He studied with Olivier Messiaen (Olivier Messiaen), and René Leibowitz (René Leibowitz), experimenting with electronic and «specific» music led philharmonic orchestras of Cleveland and New York and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. As a young Boulez loved the Louvre and spent his entire days galleries. He is close friends with Steel (Nicolas de Staël) , which he said, «passionately fond of music». «The most clever artist» Boulez calls Paul Klee, who also composed music. The famous composer, regretted that many of his younger brothers are not very interested in the fine arts, which, in his view, is closely connected with music.
This is not the first time, curators of the exhibition at the invitation of the Louvre are people whose daily activities are not linked to the visual arts. In 2005, his exhibition is organized by the French politician Robert Badenter (RobertBadinter), and in 2006 - an American writer, Nobel laureate Toni Morrison (ToniMorrison).
