From a noble family. He studied at the Drawing school of Princess М. К. Тенишевой in St. Petersburg (the second half of 1890-х) И. Е. Репина in the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture as a volunteer (1900-1905).

I Lived in St. Petersburg (Petrograd).

Performed genre scenes, portraits, landscapes; worked a lot in watercolors. Author paintings: "Landing" (1899), "the girl with the rosary" (1910), "On stage", "At work" (both — 1912), "Lady in black hat" (circa 1913), "the red shawl" (1915), "Portrait С. М. Захаровой" (1923), "Italian salon"; watercolors: "At the gates of the Church," "Along the river" (both — 1906), "Boyaryshnya" (1908), "Duma" (1914), "Memories" (1915), "Blue eyes", "Autumn leaves" (both — 1917), "Lady with a mandolin". Participated in the design of the anniversary edition of the novel А. С. Пушкина "Eugene Onegin", sponsored by the First ladies ' art circle (St. Petersburg, 1899).

From 1890 — participant of exhibitions (all-Russian exhibition of women's art-ремесленного labor in St. Petersburg). Exhibited associations: St-Петербургского (Petrograd) society of artists (1899, 1910-1913, 1915, 1917, 1918), the Society of Russian watercolorists (1912-1916, 1918), Association of artists (1916, 1922); was a member and Exhibitor of the First ladies ' art circle (1905, 1906, 1908, 1910). Participated in exhibitions: the Autumn exhibition of paintings (1912), Petrograd artists of all directions (1923) in St. Petersburg (Petrograd); "Artists — fellow soldiers" in Moscow (1914).

Works are in several Museum collections, among them — Krasnodar art Museum n. a. Ф. А. Коваленко.
