live in Moscow (1889-1896, 1900-1941), St-Петербурге (1896-1900), Nalchik (1941), Tbilisi (1941-1942), Samarkand (1942-1943). The artist's wife Н. П. Ульянова. With him travelled along the Volga and Kama (1906), visited Vienna (1907), Paris and Biarritz (1909), Germany (1912), Italy (1907, 1912). Executed landscapes, still lifes, portraits, genre and allegorical compositions. Author paintings: "Evening", "the old house", "terrace" (all — 1900-е); "Early autumn", "Province", "Tannins toys", "Sinbad-мореход the island on bird movement", "portrait of the artist Н. П. Крымова", "edge of the Forest" (all — 1910-е); "Meadow with sheep", "garden", "Shed", "Evening", "Mother" (all — 1920-е), "Portrait of a lady in blue (Portrait Г. Муратовой)", "Streets in the province, Portrait Pestel". Created illustrations for the Arabian tale of "Talking bird" (M., 1918).

From 1894 — participant of exhibitions (the Moscow school of painting, student). A member and Exhibitor associations: the Moscow Association of artists (1907-1922, with breaks; member — not later than 1916), the Professional Union of artists-живописцев Moscow (1917-1919); member-учредитель society "4 искусства" (1924-1929). He exposed his works at exhibitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg: "Wreath — Stephanos" (1907-1908), society of Leonardo da Vinci (1907), New society of artists (1908), Union of Russian artists (1911-1912), and at the world exhibition in Rome (1911), the International exhibition of printing and graphics in Leipzig (1914), 4-й State exhibition of paintings (1918-1919) and the exhibition of paintings, graphics and sculptures of women-художников dedicated to International women's day (1938) in Moscow.

he Taught Classes in painting and drawing for beginners under the guidance of Н. П. Ульянова (1902-1907), the school for gifted children in Bolshye Vyazemy (1920-1921).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — of the State Tretyakov gallery, Astrakhan state picture gallery named after. П. М. Догадина, Karakalpak state Museum of art. И. В. Савицкого.
