According to numerous requests from Theatre Museum. Extended Bakhrushina the exhibition "Breakthrough. Russian theatre-декорационное art. 1870-1930" from 15 to 23 February 2016 inclusive.

the exhibition presents the work Malevich, Tatlin, Exter, Popova and other artists of the Russian avant-garde. The exhibition includes works created by the artists for the "Russian seasons" Diaghilev's productions at the Moscow Chamber theater and the theater of Vsevolod Meyerhold, the original designs of the cabaret, circus and propaganda-массовых events, as well as works created by Russian masters to performances abroad in exile.

the Exhibition includes more than 600 paintings, drawings, posters and models, made possible through a partnership with the St-Петербургским state Museum of theatrical and musical art. The basis of the exhibition was a legendary collection of Nikita and Nina Lobanov-Ростовских that they collected throughout their life.

the Exhibition will be open to the public including on Mondays — 15 and 22 February from 12:00 to 19:00. On Wednesday and Thursday (17 and 18 February) it will be open until 21:00. Schedule the main building of the Museum at the time of renewal of the exhibition:
