Tonight GALLERY ARTSTORY open a major exhibition project "the MOVEMENT". The exhibition includes about 200 works: kinetic dynamic compositions and objects, pictorial and graphic works, tapestries, spatial patterns, video- and photographs, artifacts, which are provided as the artists themselves — former members of the "Collective Movement", and many well-known collectionary.

Artists-кинетисты, which constituted a "Movement" ("Russian ninety", as they called themselves), created in the third quarter of the twentieth century artistic heritage, relevant in our time. It includes development and artistic discoveries in the field of "classical" paintings, graphics and applied art in the field of static and kinetic objects, performances and happenings. Based on constructivist traditions of Russian avant-garde of the XX century, using the ideas and achievements of the contemporary Western artists "Movement" sought to the synthesis of the arts, combining the best sounding of the so-called "concrete music" now and structural picturesquely-графические geometrism with kinetic sculptural.

the First exhibition in which "Collective Movement" has acted as an organized art-группа, was called — "towards a synthesis of arts" — and it was exactly 50 years ago, in December 1964.
