In Moscow launched VII festival of contemporary art collections

Today starts in Moscow, VII Festival of contemporary art collections. The festival is a private, corporate and public collection of contemporary art, showcasing the personal opinion of collectors on current art practices, and provides a rare opportunity to see the works of famous artists from private collections and museums in the vaults that are not often shown publicly.

This year's festival will be held at three different venues in the NCCA and the State Literary Museum.
Today, August 8, in the attic of the house opened the exhibition Polenova «containers, bags, tanks, memorial origin", dedicated to the memory of selectivity and co-existence of the document in artistic practice. Shutova can not be called a collector in a precise and clear understanding of the word, it collects the very reality: their own and others' works of art - for example, the early work Timur Novikov , music CDs and objects "design" 1960-80-ies like desktop sculptures, lamps and ashtrays with the attributes of the great achievements of the USSR. Its amazing archive of the artist first puts on public display.
Today also in the exhibition hall will open NCCA exhibition "Armenian contemporary art" from the collection of the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art: works of modern Armenian artists, made in different techniques - from drawing and painting to the facilities, installations and video art.
A little later, on August 15, in the small hall of the NCCA will exhibit" Mikhail Chernyshev: work 1981-1993 years "from the collection of A. Chernyshev, which included works by the artist from 1981 to 1993 in New York City brought to Moscow to participate in the exhibition "Russian precursors of Pop Art ( Roginskii , Turkish , Chernyshev)", but did not show the audience.

The exhibition "Images of poets" from the collection of the State Museum of Literature and personal archives will be presented to schedule since the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day: the drawings Andrew White, Paul Antokolsky, Valery Bryusov, , Voloshin , Georgi Ivanov, Seeds Kirsanova, Vladimir Mayakovsky , Velimir Khlebnikov, Edward Bagritsky, Joseph Brodsky, Andrei Voznesensky, Konstantin Kedrov Vladimir Kovenatskogo, Kruchenykh , Yuri Kublanovsky, Henry Sapgir, Jan Satunovsky , D . Festival will close five special project of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art - an exhibition of works from the collection of the Museum De Hallen Haarlem (Haarlem, the Netherlands), "Ghosts in the system - Scenarios of action." In the center of the exhibition - the masterpieces of contemporary Dutch artists that are associated with the works of authors from other countries. The exhibition gives an opportunity to see the unknown in Russian contemporary art is the Netherlands.
