exhibition in Central House of Artists "Knight and his images" - the first exhibition of the project "Romanticism in the work of non-conformists' Association Insite art. The exposition consists of works of Nikolai Andreyevich Nicholas A. Silis - the author of the sculpture "Don Quixote", the symbol of Romanticism. The exhibition features about 30 sculptures and 40 graphic works by NA Silis, as well as more than two dozen works by artists whose names are in the front row of the sixties galaxy: Vladimir Nemukhin , Anatoly Zverev , Boris Sveshnikov , Yuri Vasiliev (MON) , Pozdeeva , Yuri Kosagovskogo , Slepysheva , Sooster , Boris Zhutovsky , Alexander Kharitonov .
Romanticism, spontaneous or deliberate, obvious or latent, is present in the works of many non-conformists ... This is a kind of vexation of spirit, a dream of beauty, a sort of genetic memory , carefully storing the loftiest impulses sunk into oblivion generations, the feelings that were thrown at the feet of lovers, discovering new continents, or scientific discoveries are made.

Most of his works known Russian avant-garde artist, sixties Silis Nicholas (b. 1928) created in the second half of XX century. It was not a party of the Soviet Union of Artists « Lemport - Siddur - Silis» .

There is something in his work on children's games. Silis very interesting, but what's next for this form?
His work - formula, translated into a plastic language. It is no accident in their workshop with Volodya Lemportom frequent guests were eminent scientists.

However, I imagine that will put Don Quixote and the first thing that will do - take away his flower. But maybe, instead of copper every day he will invest in the fingers of a flower from the fields ...
