February 8 opens the exhibition "Russian Avant-garde isms. Futurism, Suprematism, Constructivism "

From 9 February to 2 March 2011 in hall № 23 CHA on the Crimean Val will be open to the public exhibition of "isms, Russian avant-garde. Futurism, Suprematism, Constructivism, "prepared by the gallery" Russian Avant-Garde 10-30-ies ».

organizers of the exhibition on the material of a private collection show three main areas of pre-war Russian avant-garde. It is the ancestor of the avant-garde - futurism, the world famous - Suprematism and the most pragmatic and popular even today - constructivism. All these areas are united by one term "Russian Avant-Garde" and became a significant chapter in the history of art along with Impressionism and other popular areas of art.

The exhibition is made up of private materials, which are absent in most public collections . This is especially true Suprematist porcelain, furniture authors 1920-30-ies. Section of the avant-garde books submitted almost unknown even to most specialists rare editions Futurists, painted by hand by the authors of these books. Under constructivism shows some publications that were not previously published in reference books. All book edition in excellent collector condition, which can not be seen in public libraries.

Futurism presented, besides a large collection of rare first lithographed books, some of which are painted by hand in watercolor, still and folders collages Alexei twisted and Olga Rozanova . These folders come with a circulation of 100 copies, and to date, remained no more than 20 full sets. The cost of these futuristic titles in the global market now exceeds the price of the first lifetime editions of Pushkin and Dostoyevsky. With regard to the Tiflis folder lithographs and collages Cyril Zdanevich , it is known, only 6 copies, and today it is the most expensive Russian edition. It will show all 35 lithographed authors postcards issued twisted in 1912 to a circulation of 30 to 300 copies for promotion of Russian Futurism. Today, some of these postcards have survived almost in a single copy. It was first printed share Futurists, whose authors were Natalia Goncharova , Mikhail Larionov , Vladimir Tatlin , AV Shevchenko , peregravirovavshie on lithographic stone versions of their paintings. Showing ink drawings by Olga Rozanova and oil work of Mikhail Larionov, previously attributed to the brush Natalia Goncharova, where the landscape at the same time shows all four seasons. Membership in this picture Larionov was set after discussions with its former owners and by comparing it to similar in style to the work of Larionov's Historical and Art Museum of Serpukhov, reproduced on page 135 the album "Unknown Russian avant-garde in museum and private collections" (author- Compiled by AD Sarabyanov, 1992).

Suprematism surprise viewers with its bright brevity, especially in the porcelain objects of Nicholas Suetina and Ilya Chashniki . Many of the items featured porcelain dinner services have never been published and are absent in the largest gatherings of the country. Speaking of the avant-garde porcelain, should mention the service, painted on the sketches Alexander Rodchenko , 1929. During his lifetime service was not made. For exhibitions in 1993 at the Dmitrov Porcelain Factory was founded, according to various estimates, from 3 to 5 copies of this service, technical execution took over the main artist Boris E. Kalita. An incomplete copy of this service is exhibited in the Museum of Fine Arts named after AS Pushkin. This service is also shown in the section of constructivism in our exposition. Very interesting Supremacist sign "Dining Room" created, obviously, members UNOVIS ("yes" new art ") to decorate the Vitebsk streets, but this requires further research to establish the author of this work. With UNOVIS bound and pencil drawing, oil identical work Kazimir Malevich called "Suprematism number 58, was first shown at an exhibition in 1917 and now kept in the Russian Museum. It is possible that this figure was intended for lithography in the program book Malevich's "Suprematism in 1934 the figure" (Vitebsk, 1920), but did not enter into it because of its larger size compared with the format of published books. Complements a small exhibition of Suprematism table with two chairs, on the leg as Suprematist Architect, with black circles. This furniture was designed in 1927 by Nicholas Suetin, but in the lives of his project was realized only later.

Constructivism 1920-30-ies presented quite a large number of exhibits, and the center of the exhibition could be called constructivist the artist of the theater, Vladimir Muller. It's like a big enough it scenographic of 1920, as well as transforming the chair-bed, created by his drawings in 1932. These chairs, beds, the artist enjoyed until the end of his life in 1978. Interesting previously unpublished photographs of models scene for the play of Vasily Kamensky by Vladimir Tatlin in 1935. You can see more constructivist work of M. Petrova, done embroidery on the fabric in 1920 under the direction of A. Bykhov . Due to limited exhibition space shows only some of the best leaves from the bulk folder titled "Art in the home," the 1930 edition. Visitors will see posters, made by constructivists and almost never preserved, as pasted on the walls and baseboards. Recently, several of these billboards were purchased as a part of Lobanov-Rostovsky our state. They are already on display in St. Petersburg, and this collection will show the various museums in the future. Great to see "Guide to Color» Michael Matyushina , 1932. One gets the impression that the author of this latest work Russian avant-garde has always seen the publication in expanded form, not folded in the publishing folder.

Very interesting photos of "Portrait of W. Muller on the background of the layout stage to Gadfly" in 1929 by K. Borovikov, which similar to the famous portrait L. to work on a model for the Meyerhold Theatre - true, our much larger format. Another wonderful photo, which is represented in the exhibition was the work of Lissitzky himself with a portrait of yet unidentified person made in the difficult technique of photomontage, is also quite large for the work of 1920-30's format.

main exhibits of constructivism, as well as in the department of Futurism become copyrights prints, decorated with world-renowned designers: Alexander Rodchenko, L. Lisitsky, S. Telingater , G. Klutsis , A. Hahn, and others will show known publications Kino-Fot "," Modern Architecture "," LEF "," South LEF books and Alexander Rodchenko and the V. Stepanova in particular," podnosnom "performance:" The first horse "and" 10 Years of Uzbekistan. " Also shown here, and several children's books from the era, almost no extant.

exhibition will be open to the public from 9 February to 2 March 2011.
