For 10 years we have settled down in our house. The inevitable period of resistance to the old mansion exhibitions of modern art ended with an attempt to engage in dialogue. The main hero of the new exhibition of the Museum building itself was at Petrovka 25. This building in the historic heart of Moscow has undergone multiple shift periods and purposes: first it was alone merchant Mikhail Pavlovich Gubin and his successors (1793 - second half of XIX century), then became a private High School Franz Ivanovich Kreiman - one of the best in Moscow (1880-1904), then turned to clinic - State Institute of Physiotherapy and Orthopedics (1920-1958) and finally, reborn as the Moscow museum Contemporary Art (1999).
