Today, the international art-gallery'Eritazh opens exhibition «From the avant-garde to expressionism. Paintings, drawings, monotypes, collage. XX - XXI century ».

The exhibition brings together the work of three artists, and the fate of art that reflects the continuity of tradition, dating back to the avant-garde art of the early twentieth century: Barbara Bubnova (1886-1983), Nicholas Nicholas Lozovoy (1901-1992) and Alexander Lozovoy (born 1949).

Barbara Bubnova studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts at a rate of Paul Filonov and Woldemariam Matveev, has participated in exhibitions «Union of Youth», «The Jack of Diamonds», «Donkey Tail» , Kazimir Kazimir Malevich , Natalia Goncharova , Olga Olga Rozanova and other prominent representatives of the avant-garde.

Nicholas Lozovoy - student Kuzma Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin , worked side by side Paul Filonov group Masterov analytical arts, and later, together with Kazimir Malevich in the experimental workshop at the Institute of History of Art.

Lozovoy Alexander, son of Nicholas Lozovoy, student Barbara Bubnov, a representative of the Berlin school of painting. In the works of Alexander Lozovoy affect the picturesque tradition of the artist's father, learned Bubnova, but also the tradition of European neoekspressionizma regarded by the artist through the study of the Berlin artists.

first time, the work of these artists were shown together in the exhibition «Tradition of St. Petersburg avant-garde», which took place in 2006 at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Project «From the avant-garde expressionism to» Gallery'Eritazh continues to have scheduled a vector, demonstrating the development of perspective and refraction of avant-garde ideas from master to master until 2009.
