The Museum and Public Center. A. Sakharov an exhibition where you can learn a great deal about one of the most important publications on the informal Soviet art
6 August at the Moscow Museum and Public Center. A. Sakharov opened an exhibition entitled «The journal on the windowsill. History of "A-I "».
The exhibition was organized by the National Center for Contemporary Art as part of his Festival collections. The exhibition is devoted to non-Russian art magazine «A-I», which was published from 1979 till 1986 in Paris. Total published eight issues of the journal (including one written). The materials gathered in Moscow, Alexander Sidorov, and transported the artist and a Parisian journal editor Igor Sergeyevich Shelkovskiy" Shelkovskoy .

Constant journal authors were John Boult, Boris Groys and Igor Golomshtok, Victor and Margarita Tupitsyn, Vitaly Patsyukov.
Fine several magazine recreated at the exhibition at the Museum and Public Center. Andrei Sakharov through large reproductions of published works of artists. There are also materials from the archive log (correspondence with artists and journalists, invitation cards, posters, newspaper articles, selected editions «A-I»), reflecting an artistic life outside the Soviet-era censorship.
