As a result of evening auction Christie's «postwar and contemporary art », held on 30 June , the result was 19 063 350 pounds (22 513 816 euros). Statistics in monetary terms amounted to 86% was 88% of lots sold, indicating the continued stability of the market.

Top-lot auction was the urban landscape painted by Peter Doig (b. 1959), entitled «Sports fields at night», written in 1997-1998. The painting was bought by private collector for 3 009 250 pounds (at estimeyte in 1,5-2 million), which is the second largest amount of ever paid for the work of the artist. This large canvas, which is, according to the most Doig, one of the most popular of his works were exhibited at the auction for the first time.
