From a noble family; native South-западного region of Russia.

he Worked as a designer, he took private painting lessons from Л. Л. Каменева (second half of the 1860-х — the first half of the 1870-х).

as a student he studied at MUZHVZ (1875-1883). In 1879 for landscape "Afternoon", and "taking into account its long-lasting activities, extraordinary giving" teachers are put under to petition the Council of the Moscow art society on awarding Allerta a large silver medal and admission to the number of regular students (-видимому, the petition was not filed).

In 1881 за cool sketches of the Imperial Academy of arts awarded the medal of low incentive. In the same year for the sketch composition "Jacob blessing the children of Joseph" received a monetary reward from the Moscow school of painting. In 1882 as a sketch of the "Summer evening" was approved for the painting on a large silver medal, which he received salaries from the Moscow school of painting for six months. In 1883, for the painting "Night" ("Herd") was awarded a large silver medal.

he Lived in Moscow. He painted landscapes, still lifes; performed animal studies. In 1887 he participated in the creation of a "Collection of autographs of Russian writers and drawings by Russian artists of the facsimile. To help the poor children" (Moscow, 1887). From 1878 — participant of exhibitions (student's, MUZHVZ). A member and Exhibitor of Moscow society of art lovers (1884-1899, with breaks; member since 1886), the Moscow Association of artists (1893-1898, with breaks; the member from 1894). Also exhibited at exhibitions TPHV (1884-1893, with breaks).

In the last five years of his life lost his eyesight and was not working.

the Works are in many Museum collections, including the State Tretyakov gallery, the State literary Museum and others.
