Studied at the Drawing School of Princess Tenisheva in St. Petersburg (1895), Ilya Repin, then - in the Superior Art School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with IAH (1896-1903) by P. O. Kovalevsky. In 1904 received the title of the artist's painting "The Triumph of the Spirit (Self-immolation splitters )».

lived in Penza (1906-1909), St. Petersburg - Petrograd - Leningrad (since 1909). He worked as a genre painter, landscape painter, portraitist, book and magazine illustrator. Collaborated in the St. Petersburg magazine "Jester" (1902), "Gamajun" (1906), "Spring" (1914) and others.

In 1912 took part in the paintings of the Orthodox Church of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia.

exhibited their work at academic fairs, exhibitions of the Association of Independent, the New Society of Artists, the first free public exhibition of works of art (1919), the exhibition "Mignon" (1920), Petrograd artists of all directions (1923). Member and exhibitor of the Society of Artists. AIKuindzhi (since 1917), AHRR (since 1925).

taught in the Penza Art College. KA Savitsky (1906-1909), Drawing School of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts (1912-1918), Petrograd Free art educational workshops - Vhtutemase - Vhuteine (1920-1925), Professor (since 1921).

retrospective exhibition of the artist's work was held in Leningrad - St. Petersburg (1927, 2000).

Vakhrameeva works are in several museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum and others.
