the Exhibition is interesting because it shows not only the joint work done together with Emilia Kabakov in exile since 1988, but things Ilya Kabakov Moscow period.

Kabakov called among the key figures of Moscow conceptualism. This is one of the rare areas of art in which Russian artists are acknowledged innovators (along with the Russian avant-garde of the early twentieth century, and partly on the icon). Ilya Iosifovich confidently heads auction ranking of living artists and rating artists-шестидесятников. He has no equal no traffic on the auction or on the auction price of the most expensive work.
