the Exhibition, organized by the gallery business of life, together with GMF, timed to 105-летию since the birth of Leonid Vladimirovich Soyfertis (1911-1996) — one of the masters of graphics of the twentieth century. The exposition includes more than 60 works 1930-70-х years of the artist's family collection and private collections. Many of the drawings of the famous series "Old Moscow", "Moscow genre", "Sports", "Metro", the public shows for the first time.

Leonid Soifertis passed whole, intense and consistent in his professional advancement path. He moved in 1930 from Kharkov to Moscow, he was before the war established himself as a gifted artist of Newspapers and magazines, tirelessly oilsuse their drawings as "Light", "Komsomolskaya Pravda", "Spotlight", the magazines "Crocodile" and "Change".

his Art is unimaginable without the all-pervading smiles, exposing her "rare ability to show how many interesting and funny in ordinary human actions: how people eat, drink, sunbathe..." You could even say that a smile not only defines the plastic story and the nuances of the works of Soyfertisa, but also reflects the evolution of his work, differing more caricature-like sharpness in the 1930-е years, becoming thinner and lyriclee in the series of drawings, undergoing a kind of romanticizing of everyday life in the works 1950-70-х years. The ability of Soyfertisa constantly internally smile everything gives it a graphical composition the freedom and spontaneity of the incarnation, are perceived to be the hallmark of his art, outside of the irony, the inner warmth and full of insight which does not lose actual value, and in our days.
