In the State Hermitage Museum is hosting the first retrospective exhibition of the architect Zaha Hadid in Russia. The project has been prepared specifically for the Nikolaevsky hall of the Winter Palace — one of the main state historic interiors of the Museum. The exhibition, prepared by the State Hermitage Museum and the Studio of Zaha Hadid (London, UK), is about 300 layouts, drawings, photographs, sculptures and design objects. Zaha Hadid was born in 1950 in Baghdad, Iraq.
