Eleazar Langman M. (1895-1940) remains one of the most enigmatic figures in the history of Soviet photography in the 1930s. Around his name, as well as around the names Alexander Rodchenko, Alexander and Boris Ignatovich , together made up the core of the photographic association "October", seething passion.
Today, however, his work is almost unknown. No credible evidence of either life or death photographer. Archive masters - negatives, photographs, documents, manuscripts (he published an article in the "Soviet photo"), seems to be lost, since the latter years of his life Langman after divorcing his wife did not have a permanent shelter and wandered from one another in the darkroom.
