Vitebsk Museum - the third in the way of a traveling exhibition has already visited the National Art Museum in Minsk and Gomel Museum. Belgazprombank initiated and directly involved in the process of repatriation of paintings born in Belarus and become world famous artists of the Paris school of the early twentieth century. It took about a year to the management of the bank is to buy from private collectors and renowned auction about 50 works of Belarusian artists. Besides the works from the corporate collection BGB, the exhibition will see paintings , etchings and lithographs School of Paris artists from private collections of Belarus, Russia, and from the museum collections.
As the researcher Vitebsk Art Museum Lyudmila Malashchanka in Vitebsk art project "Artists Paris School of Belarus "is presented in an expanded format. Total exposure in the 56 works, 27 of them - from the collection of BGB, 19 - from private collections, and 10 - from the National Art Museum in Minsk. The exhibition shows the work of 14 natives of Belarus, who worked in Paris in the first decades of the twentieth century.
