In Memorial Apartment Museum Nekrasov opened the exhibition "Petersburg writer", dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Russian poet.

The exhibition includes unique materials and relics from the collections of the Memorial Apartment-Museum Nekrasov and work from the private collection of renowned St. Petersburg architect and literary critic VG Isachenko. The first room presents works by contemporary artists, and G. . Kelliha, VG Isachenko, RF Tupikin. It views of St. Petersburg, related to the life and work of writers Nekrasov pores, as well as portraits of writers, largely determined the history of the "literary relations of an era, the history of Russian journalism." In St. Petersburg he died and was buried. This St. Petersburg writer, Nekrasov said about the city a new word. He saw the northern capital of St. Petersburg through the eyes of the poor and praised her as a poet - with a warm sympathy for the unfortunate and disadvantaged. Everyone who ever wrote about St. Petersburg, was his city, his personal attitude toward him. The exposition covers a small period in the history of St. Petersburg: 1850-70s. It Petersburg Nekrasov, Panayeva, Dostoevsky, Chernyshevsky, Dobrolyubov, Saltykov-Shchedrin.
