Works Maxim Basheva can be viewed as a form neodadaistkoy practice. His inspired by Basquiat, Keith Haring and the whole underground culture of protest, which they embody. In this culture reflects the aesthetic terror to society, which wants to sleep and to dream, wants a quiet routine, and not disturbing images reminiscent of the real problems. Such energy translates and Bashev in their works. His paintings are drawn to New York 1980, to protest the underground interventions in unconventional spaces for art.

Bashev fascinated Bacon. gloomy charisma manifested in Basheva Bacon in a way to compose the picture: this type of composition, which is totally unrelated to the picture. Gilles Deleuze considered the work of Bacon as freedom from functional structures and cognition - the freedom through which ecstasy is the practice of painting. In his case, one may also speak the continuity of ideas, development of which is associated with the names of Dubuffet, Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly and the British pop art.
