Nikita Makarov belongs to the ambitious and talented generation of domestic painters, which was formed already in modern times, but still within the framework of traditional schools. At 9 years old he moved with his family in Germany. For many years he lived in Europe, much revised and changed his mind, but getting the artistic education he returned to Moscow (in 2008 graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. Surikov, studio of monumental painting of Academician E. Maksimova). His talent was formed at the juncture of two cultures - Russian and European.
