«Work Club" on the right went into the history of design of the 1920s as one the most notable works reflecting the aesthetic of constructivism and its commitment to inventive functional solutions.

«Work Club" was conceived by Alexander Rodchenko as a new type of public interior, which was not just a subject-consumer situation, but doing zhiznestroitelnuyu function, providing a formative influence on modern sports and leisure workers. In designing the interior, "Labor Club "widely used methods of transformation, so that one object could easily be converted into another. Center of the room served as a transformation of the folding stand. Equipped with a screen, a retractable wall for posters, exhibits a horizontal podium for speeches or readers, it should serve as a universal setting for lectures, theatrical evenings and talks. Multifunctional were conceived and the remaining items: a table for a reading room in the unfolded state increasing its effective area three times, a chess table for two was arranged with a rotating board so that players can change the color of figures, not rising from their seats.

For the project "Workers' Club" Alexander Rodchenko was a silver medal. At the end of the Paris exhibition was donated to the interior of the Communist Party of France, and Russia has never exhibited.

«Work Club" repeatedly reconstructed on drawings of Alexander Rodchenko and a photograph in 1925 - in whole or in isolated fragments (1979, 1989, 1990, 1991).
