Tatiana Glebova (1900-1985) began his career in Leningrad in 1920. She studied painting at the private studio A. Savinov (1924), then in 1925 moved to the studio P. Filonov. From 1926 to 1932, was a member of the Masters of Analytical Art "(MAI). Participated in joint projects MAI: the famous exhibition in the House of the press and in the design of the book "Kalevala". From 1927 she worked as a book illustrator in the magazines "Siskin" and "hedgehog". Illustrated poems DI Kharms and Vvedensky AI. One of the striking works of the Leningrad theatrical decorative art of the 1930 were made by T. Glebova with Vladimir V. Dmitriev scenery for opera, Richard Wagner's Nuremberg Meistersingers in MALEGOT (Small State Opera).
In 1941-1942 T. Glebova lived in besieged Leningrad, and continued to practice his art. She created a series of works "Besieged Leningrad, who became reliable historical evidence of resistance inhabitants of the besieged city. In 1942-1945 was evacuated to Alma-Ata, has worked at the studio Kazakhfilm. In 1943 she married artist V. Sterligov and two years later returned with him from the evacuation Leningrad.

The exhibition at the Rumyantsev Mansion presented a retrospective of works of T. Glebova. Works by 1920-30-ies: "Group Portrait" (1930), depicting P. Filonov with his disciples, "Self Portrait" (1937), sketches of scenery for the opera by Richard Wagner "Meistersingers Nuremberg" (1931), in which clearly traced earned during the training period in P. The exhibition includes about 20 watercolors in 1942 from the series "Blockade Leningrad" ("The Man-Tree," "In the dining room", "In a bomb shelter," the stove "," A man with bread and waitresses, etc.), depicting the daily lives of the besieged city and the person Leningrad.
