Today, 29 April, at 17.00 in the halls of the Art Gallery of Zurab Tsereteli (st. Prechistenka, 19) will open the exhibition "Dedicated to the 65-year anniversary of Victory».
The exhibition, dedicated to this great date is a tribute to deep respect and gratitude to the artists - those involved in military action to protect the country and, together with all the people nearer the victory.
Among participants - veterans of the Great Patriotic War, People's Artist of the USSR and Russia, members of the Russian Academy of Arts, State Prize laureate, the largest domestic master of fine arts and architecture, whose works have entered the golden fund of our culture. This - painters EI Zverkov , AP and SP Tkachev , AA Mylnikov , VI Pereyaslavets, MI Samsonov , TT Salakhov , O. Eremeyev , AP Levitin , BM Nemensky , VNKorbakov, JA Yakupov , graphs I. T . Bogdesko, W. S. Wilner, sculptors VE Tsigal , NB Nikoghosyan, GD Yastrebenetsky, master scenery art MM Kurilko-Ryumin, architect VS Egerev, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia PG Gromushkin and others. Many of them marched the roads of war thousands of miles away, were wounded, some have come to Berlin. Their selfless service to the Motherland observed high military awards.
These artists, each in their own way reflect the theme of war. Their work grew out of the truth of the war years and became paradigmatic. Many front-line drawings, painted sketches that show scenes of military life, have a documentary and artistic value. They subsequently formed the basis of large-scale memorials and monuments, monumental and easel paintings on the theme of the Great Patriotic War. This blockade and routine besieged Leningrad, the years of post-war devastation, hunger and hard times. The exhibition includes paintings, praising the peaceful life, the beauty of nature, a happy human being in the land of peace, which for so long dreamed of the soldiers at the front.
Creative artists, war veterans, shows that the art on the theme of war carries with it the vital truth of history that will never lose its wave power.
The exhibition also included works by artists of other generations - L. Davydova, B . Demianchuk, V. Psareva, K. Petrova, E. Romashko , V. Rzhevsky, S. Sokolov , P. Stronsky, A. Sytova, which were not eyewitnesses to the events of the war years, give her an idea of the heroic and fateful for the world era.
The exhibition features works by the President of the Russian Academy Arts ZKTsereteli .
