Today, March 4, Center of Contemporary Culture "Garage" opened two large exhibition Contemporary Russian Art "Futures" and "Russian Utopia».

«Futures" examines the influence of Kazimir Malevich on Russia's art scene through the prism of abstract and figurative in his art. On display are works by Malevich, provided by the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, as well as 18 new large-scale works by contemporary authors.

parallel with "futurology" in the "Garage", an exhibition "Russian Utopia". The first part of the exhibition - "Initiation. The ruins of the great utopias "- illustrates the main utopias of the twentieth century: the revolutionary vanguard and the socialist project. The second part - "The Future of here" - will show viewers how contemporary artists simulate images of the future in his art. Both exhibitions will provide an opportunity to consider contemporary Russian art from two different points of view.
