«Miracles» factory «Red October»

plumage of birds, petals of flowers, bristly fur of animals and human wit: we can either admire them or fear them, we can both admire and fear and wonder at their continued development and branching. We, the viewers of art, can relate to the world of art as a village garden, well-groomed, but overflowing with the wonders of nature - a quiet scene of the struggle for life, the place where living beings play their strategies samopokaza, camouflage, body language, hypocrisy and intimidation.

Julian Stallabrass

Humankind, however, has no goals, no ideas, no plan, more than race or butterfly orchids ... I see instead of the empty fragment of one linear history ... drama, which played many different powerful civilization ... and each of them is their idea, their passions, their lives, their death. There really are colored lights, and movements that the eye of reason has not yet discovered ... Every civilization has its own new possibilities for self-expression which arise, zreyut, tleyut and never returned. There is a single sculpture, a single picture, a single direction in mathematics or physics, but there are many, and each sphere of knowledge in a given civilization its deepest essence is different from a parallel sphere of knowledge of other people. These civilizations grow with the same superb aimlessness as the flowers and the field.

Oswald Spengler

concept of

When discussing the concept of the exhibition, curators and artists asked: «How can we make great and notable events, when to abandon the idea of progress?»

In a continuation of ideas of Oswald Spengler progress opposed cultural diversity. Relativistic concept of cultural identity of the German philosopher in the early XX century has destroyed the fundamentals of the theory of historical and cultural progress. Freed from illusions about the ultimate goals of progress, reason now had the opportunity to assess the cultural dimension that promote opportunities for self-expression and creative expression. If there is no single world culture, that is, separate cultures, each of which has its own idea and «soul».

Exhibition space

logic of exhibition space built according to the chosen concept. The space is divided into different zones, each with «The wonders of modern art» work by individual groups of artists united by common aesthetic or conceptual ideas.

During the journey through the different areas of London's new art before the viewer is presented as the diversity of styles, concepts, ways. «Miracles» - this is ... the legacy of modernism, which deliberately and knowingly employs many members of the artistic environment in London. They miss their feelings through the filter of our time, and ironically embody the ideas, often using improvised materials. In «Miracles ...» artists use the language of abstraction, but with an unprecedented long-standing strength and sincerity. Attention will no doubt attract the work, interpret today's urban environment, detect the beauty and meaning in the industrial landscape, a collage representing the bustling streets of mega-cities of glass and concrete, metal, colored neon signs, vintage posters and inspirational debris. Along with the conceptual or abstract art in the exhibition is figurative.

«Wonders. New Art from London »- a variety of directions and styles, this fascinating mixture of« feathers, petals, prickly fur, teeth and oskalennyh wit », which consists of the creative landscape of London today. The exhibition curators are the most important trends in contemporary art relevant thoughts and cultural products that inspire today actual creators of art in London.
